Is this real or made up? Sugar Fruit Giggles Cereal 1976

If I didn't know any better this could just be a spoof on cereal commercials from the time.

This was the era when Saturday Night Live started to poke fun at the television industry. And there are so many things about this commercial that seem like strange choices to promote a kid's cereal.

They barely show the cereal and the quick shot of it in the bowl doesn't seem like anything special.

Mostly the commercial just seems to be about how the children can't get through a take without pretending to laugh.

But hey, there is an evil Larry from the 3 Stooges drawing on the box and you get a free mustache cutout 🤣
